Parkinson’s MT

Music is perceived on both sides of the brain, bypassing affected areas of the brain and reteach skills on healthy areas. Music therapy utilizes the neurological perception of music to improve quality of life and reduce the symptoms of Parkinson’s Disease. We have so much fun doing many of the recommended exercises and wellness activities with music. Many of the musical activities we do in this group are challenging cognitively and physically, yet we strive to facilitate a lighthearted and fun experience. We guarantee that you’ll have fun and meet new people with similar interests and experiences, all while improving physical and emotional health!
